Santa Ana Sites is a community partnership, presenting contemporary performance in public and private spaces throughout Downtown Santa Ana. The traveling forum is designed to provide the community shared artistic experiences, encouraging the discovery of diverse environments and architectural space. Santa Ana Sites was founded by Allen Moon, Artistic Director and John D. Spiak, Grand Central Art Center Director/Chief Curator.

A resident of Santa Ana, Allen toured nationally and internationally with the Mehmet Sander Dance Company and Diavolo Dance Theater. He currently serves as Director of Touring & Artist Management for David Lieberman Artists’ Representatives, where he has created tours for contemporary ensembles, including the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Kronos Quartet, Tectonic Theater Project, Diavolo, CIRCA, Los Angeles Master Chorale, the it gets better project, and The Watts Prophets, to performing arts centers and festivals across the globe. Allen proudly serves as a Board Member for the International Society for the Performing Arts as well as the Dance Resource Center of Los Angeles.

Our mission is to stimulate positive social interaction in diverse communities through innovative and socially motivated art practice.  We seek togetherness by creatively exploring our shared spaces through the medium of socially engaged art.
